The day of the competition.
VILIPO is an exciting international competition for students aged 12-19 from all around the world.
VILIPO is not only a world-wide platform to launch our innovators’ inventions; it also aims to assure that they can cherish their memories of this life-changing experience.
VILIPO is hosted at FTMC, which is the largest scientific research institution carrying out fundamental research and technological development works in scientific fields in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Projects eligible for this category would include novel approaches on maintaining a healthy living as well as prevention and treatment of diseases.

Innovation in the field of engineering can encompass many things. Innovating can begin from a novel idea on a simple method and turn into a new production process which can improve our health, make everyday life more convenient and be environmentally friendly at the same time.

The projects should aim to find practical solutions to the Earth's energy problems and should develop technology that can be used for maintaining global sustainability.

Create an application, i.e. Mobile application for Windows, Android or IOS, Web application, Edutainment and Entertainment applications etc.

Design a robot that can improve our health, make everyday life more convenient and be environmentally friendly at the same time.

Raise awareness regarding environmental problems through photography, short films and poster designs.

As part of VILIPO, you will have the opportunity to go on a city tour of Vilnius. The city tour features the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site highlighting its main attractions.
The day after Vilnius Trip, you will have a tour to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with its beautiful insular castle of the 14th century, situated on an island in the middle of a lake. The unique location on the peninsula surrounded by five lakes has dubbed itself the “Town on the Water”.
VILIPO participants will have an excellent opportunity to get to know each other by participating in complimentary events.
Vilnius, as the capital of Lithuania, is the home of the President, the Seimas, the Government, and the Supreme Court. Diplomatic missions, educational, cultural, financial, research, and healthcare institutions are based here.
